Ras El Hanout #1
Ras el Hanout is translated from Arabic to “head of the shop”. It is named as such because it is a mixture of all the top spices in the herb shop. Herbalists have their own recipe compositions using different ingredients and ratio differences with commonly included spices, so its flavor can be wildly different but is still the embodiment of North African cooking.
This blend has the mainstay warm spices (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, etc..) combined with the savory spices, nigella & fenugreek seeds, and the addition of rose petals, creating an enticing profile to compliment a variety of Moroccan dishes.

My Journey Back to Basics is unable to accept returns or exchanges on food products because they are perishable items. Our products are packaged within 2 weeks of your order from our residential kitchen. For this reason, and our high standards in food safety, returns can’t be placed back into inventory.
All of our spices, herbs, blends, and ingredients are of the highest quality and we stand by our products. However, If you have an issue with a product please contact us within 20 days of your order so we can resolve it mutually.
If you received the wrong product or a shipment was damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will provide a replacement. We will request images of the damaged product.
